Difference between different "A" ball levels

In real life, there is a difference between each team's two "A" level stops, one being more advanced than the other. I had asked in a previous thread quite some time ago if there was any difference between the two in 2006, or just two equal "A" ball levels, and I was told that there was no difference but that it would be considered for change in the new version. So, in 2007, is one "A" level higher than the other? And, for that matter, same with the two "R" levels?

IRL (as you know) there is a difference.

Check the link:
http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/standings/

Advanced A includes the Carolina League, Florida State League and California League. A ball includes the Midwest League and the South Atlantic League. Incidentally, Short Season ball is A level as well.

However, OOTP doesn't treat the two A level leagues any differently. They do treat SS as they should, though. I have added the + to the abbreviated names of the leagues and (Adv) to the full names. It helps me, but the computer ignores it.

No difference between the Rookie Leagues. (R)

Not sure what you're looking for here, but the average rating and talent levels are different in each level. They also each have their own league totals entry, so youy can adjust stats output for each level, also.

How should OOTP treat one vs. the other?

Actually, for a future version of the game, can we have B C and D levels( as existed pre-1960)

Just a thought.

The ideal would be to create a structure that is infinitely scalable.

Well, for one, a player should advance from low A to A+. It should be treated as a step up by the AI. As it stands, it's a lateral move and not a promotion.

I have entered the league totals for both so, while the computer may promote guys to only of the two and then beyond, if they hit the A+ they will have a rougher go of it. As I see it, they are promoted randomly to one of the two and then AA.

If that is o.k. with you, cool. I'd prefer:
AAA
AA
A+
A
SS
R
