Newbie Installed 2.02
I honestly do not know if I need to change something, or if this is a result of installing 2.02. I've had the game a week, and have completed one season. I noticed some bugs, which I found 2.02 would solve. However, since the install, which was done at the end of Spring Training, I noticed these issues:
A bunch of pitchers went on the waiver wire from various teams The AI setup my Minor Leagues to have only 8 pitchers and 17 position players per team Then I notice every other Major League roster only has 8 pitchers as well. I'm about 4 games into the season. Is there something I need to do to get the AI to fix the roster allocation, or is this a result of 2.02? I know the simple answer is, dont let the newbies install beta patches, right? Well, I did it to fix a couple of issues, and created what seems to be a bigger problem. Thanks for any help you can give me. Last edited by Sparty; 05-11-2007 at 03:34 PM. |

It might be a bug. However, there are several possibilities other than that. First, the problem might be linked to era settings. If you're in the early 1900's, it might be normal to have less pitchers than in the 21st century. You can also check the team editors to see if they allow the computer to make roster changes. The only problem I see with my suggestions is the pitchers that are put on waivers, it's quite puzzling.
