Download "set up"?? Help - Newbie

Hello everyone.

I just purchased online OOTP 07 and received confirmed email receipt of the purchase with serial number, etc. However, I am confused as to where to download the game. I did download "set up" from MAC section but there was no request for my serial number, etc to confirm the purchase? It allows me to download but I wonder if I am only downloading the demo.

I know this is probably a silly question but I am really confused where I go to download the official purchased version of the game. Please help.

On the PC version, you're prompted for your serial number the first time you try running the game - I assume the Mac version works the same way.

As the others said the demo version is the same as the full game. But for licensing the mac version works a little differently, when you first start up the game the eSellerate program starts up and you can buy the game through that. But if you already purchased, just click cancel and then once the game actually loads up there should be an activate game button on the bottom of the screen. Clicking on that will give you a place to input your serial number.

When I did it (and actually due to the death of my old powerbook I have done it twice) an error message popped up saying the code was not accepted, but just keep trying and maybe just play the game as a demo for a while (you can keep using the same league afterwards) then come back and try again. It seems that eSellerate has kind of quirky servers so it may take a few tries to get it to accept the code.

Actually, chubbysan, that seems to be random with Macs. Last year I downloaded the demo, and when I paid for the full game was never asked to input a serial number (or given one to input). This year I was given the full game immediately (no demo) and did have to go through the 'input serial number' process.

Got it! Now I just need to figure out how to play, join a league, download mlb rosters, etc.
