Game freezes on injury to pitcher

I searched to see if this had been noted but I have found that when one of my teams pitchers gets hurt while pitching when I go to replace him my game freezes.

what version of ootp? Beta patch?

Something similar happened to me. Pitcher got injured and when I dragged a replacement into the pitching window of substitutes screen the program crashed to the desktop. OOTP 2007 first patch.

Not using the beta and have the latest patch. This problem has lead to me saving after almost every game.

This issue was claimed fixed in TT #171, so I've reopened it and noted that you're still seeing this behavior.

After playing some games today I thought the problem was solved when I had a pitcher injured and was able to replace him BUT then 2 games later I had another pitcher hurt and the game crashed when I tried to replace. I do know that before the first injury I had saved the game and don't know if this information can help with solving this problem.
