Last sort not being remembered

Just a minor issue, but it seems that the last sort in a view is not being "remembered". For example if I use batting stats and sort for hits in the lineup and depth chart screen, click on pitching and then go back to lineups and depth charts, it re-sorts based on position. I haven't played OOTP 2007 very much, but I'm pretty certain this problem didn't exist in 2006. I'm using the new beta patch for 2007 so I'm not sure if the problem results from that or not.

Scratch this, I guess this has always happened previously too. The problem was when I created the custom view the last thing I had it sorted on was hits before I saved the view, so it always defaulted to the hits sort when in that view. This might be a good idea for an enhancement to the game though to remember the last sort as well as the last view for each screen.

Now, I'm thinking this may actually be a problem as the scope is not staying the same either. In fact, if I change my scope to be for the A-league and then I move one player in the lineup, the scope changes back to overall. The splits view seems to be "remembered" well by the program.

Can't remember how we left this, although I know it was discussed at length in the beta forums. I'll get back to you after I do some digging.

I like your idea to remember the last sort -- this was bugging me the other night, as well.

Edit: Check that, I just found an old TT that was marked as "Feature not Supported/Possible."

Where is this occuring, in Lineups & Depth Charts? Looks like it's remembering the scope for me.

Yes, it was happening for me in the lineups/depth charts page. I know for sure it was happening while I was viewing a custom set of stats, but I'll double check to see if it happens when viewing one of the default views.

dola, this is happening for me in all views and I think I figured out the difference. If I choose the scope of just the league (in my case the South Atlantic League), move a player in the lineup, the scope actually reverts to all Single A level stats and not overall stats. Since my universe has two sets of Single A leagues (low A and high A), the stats being shown are changing.

So it looks like if you choose the scope of a league -- in this case the South Atlantic League -- it shows the proper stats (although it incorrectly says "Stats Scope: All Levels" at the bottom), but as soon as you place a player in the lineup, it reverts the scope to all levels.

Is this what you're seeing?

Yes, that is what I'm seeing. I'm actually not certain if it's reverting to all levels or if it's all A-level stats at the end.

Looks to me like it's all levels. Logged as TT #3587.
