Force Update not working

I changed some cap logos in my league and used the force update option for player photos in order to update all of my player pictures. It took about 10 mins updating all of my pictures but when it was done nothing had actually changed. I still have player pictures with all of the old logos. If the player didn't have a picture before (i was using create on demand up until this point) then they did get the new cap logo.

Now when I try to force update it just goes from 0% to 100% instantly and does nothing else.

I suspect you may be using the wrong update function. At least I hope you are.

If I changed my cap logos for some teams, then I should use the Force Update option to have the new caps updated in the player pics for those teams, right??? (am I missing something)

The other thing is, if I go to each individual player page, and use the "same picture" function, it will update my cap changes for that player. This is what I want to happen but I don't want to update each player in my league individually.

OK, so I found the "update team's member pics" button in the edit logo and colors section for each team. I used this function and it worked for each team. (that is, it updated their pics with the new logos).

This is what I thought the Force Update function in Game Setup was supposed to do, but for every team in the league at once.

So you're saying that 'update' and 'force update' did not work as described in the manual entry that Doug posted above, right?

I believe the "Force Update" feature as described above only updates the players' faces, not the logo, uniform, etc. I can see how this would be confusing.

Has anyone found a way to universally update all the other stuff (jersey, cap, logo) without using the "Update this team's member pictures" button for each team? (I don't believe there is a way, but I want to be sure before I log this as a feature request).

Yep,

The way I read it the "force update" option should update any logo changes that I have made. Because it forces every picture to update not just the pictures of players who have BMI, age or team changes like in the "update" option.

Force Update also says - "This is helpful if you have changed team logos..."

It didn't update any logos for me however. I don't know if it is supposed to and didn't, or if the manual/help discription is just confusing or in error.

You are correct, sir, and it didn't work for me, either. I've logged this issue as TT #3523.
