No Rosters: Try this for fun
I am sure all of you have done this for fun, but for those that haven't - this is a great way to have fun. Just use Gambos new database and the utility to import 2006 rosters (or even earlier) and then just sim up to 2007.
It is really fun to take over a team in this real/fictional world. I have done this several times and it is always a new fun way to play. Plus it beats just coming on here every day looking for someone else to make rosters. |

I have no experience with running historical sims so I don't know much about Gambo's database. I know setting up a historical game requires different information then setting up a fictional one. For example you need to specify recalc options, etc. But once 2006 is simmed and you enter in 2007 does any of the historical specific settings matter anymore or does it just act similar to a fictional game started in 2007?

Or could someone just use the database to 2006 and then upload a quickstart? I'm sure there are sites out there that would be willing to host. While I would like to use a 2007 roster, I would just as easily use a 2006 version and start from there.
Is there anyone out there willing to try that for us? |

MLB07 but you would have lots people Retired that aren't in real life and if you unretire them they are put on the 40 man roster.
But you do get Oldtimes who are Retired but if you unretire them and put them on a team they sometimes can make your Transaction page not load sometime because to big and some of the epople will stay on Designed for Assignment area meaning the number like 21 would stay.
