When I load leagues...

I keep getting stuck on the finalizing portion and it's becoming a recurring problem. It sounds like the computer is still working, but nothing is happening. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Eventually it will come on (after about 10 minutes), but what can I delete to keep this from happening? I'm alreasy deleting players who never reached majors.

Must be a big league and/or an older PC. I'd guess you either are in need of memory or it could be read/write speed to your hard drive or both. I remember last year people were deleting certain news files to reduce file size and comedian even made a util to do this. Maybe that can help?

Don't forget to backup before deleting stuff!

The most common cause of this from my experience is messages. If you have a ton of messages, it will slow the saving process.
