Ready to go, almost.

After almost 5 weeks I beleive,I am ready to start my season. When I go to "Play Games" from the League home pages, league schedule, all the days match-ups pop up. Each game has an option to either manage or quick play. I read the manual on page 175 it says the following:

"If you are lpaying as manager, the team you manage will have two additional buttons on part of the page that envolves your team. Manage and quick play. Commissioners have thes options for any scheduled games. There is also a third option that appears if you are the Commissioner "Watch Games" that appears if you are the Commissioner".

My option on the screen is Manage or quick play there is no watch game option.

Now it's important I get this straight from the start. I want to be the manager of one team and one team only and play in the comissioner role. I want the computer to manage all the other teams, game play, roster moves etc. I do want to be able to control each team or manage a team when I would like. When the game starts, The game screen always opens up on my teams managers home page, which I beleive is what I want. When I go to manager options I have "Play in Commissioner Mode" checked. How do I make sure all the other teams are AI run? And where is the option to watch games. I don't want to get this wrong after all the work. Please help and it's ok to treat me like the idiot I am by being very specific.

Thanks,
Wiggans

Sounds like you have it set up like you want. You will only run the team that hired you. All the rest will be run by the AI. In comissioner mode you just get to do extra stuff like force trades and edit players button.

As for how to watch a game, just click on manage. When you go in the game, you can set whether you want to run the teams, or if you wish to let the AI run them. I believe that the default in the situation where you don't run either of the teams is for the AI to run them both, so you don't even need to change any settings.

Btw, seeing as how you spent so much time setting things up, I strongly recommend backing up the whole league folder in case there's a misstep or you want to change some setting or something.

You can save it as a quickstart as well.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
