Now that's a pickoff

Version: Happened before and after installing patch.
PC/MAC: PC
What were you doing? Managing a game in one-pitch mode, historical seasons, from Lahman database.
What happened? With a runner on first, the catcher throws behind the runner (dozy bastard) picking him off. No text describing the play comes up. Without a pause to let me input anything, the next at-bat resolves itself, even if it's the next half-inning, and then the text comes up telling me that there was a successful pickoff by the catcher and, BTW, there's been another at-bat.
Reproducible? Yes. Happens every time there's a pickoff (has been 3-4 times so far).
Problem occurs with other leagues? Yes, at least in historical seasons. I ran one fictional season but don't recall if it happened there.
Oh, and I love the fact you built in a catcher pickoff play.
Thanks,
R

I can't get into TT for some reason atm.

They were actually there in 2006, but in testing they were far too rare compared to real life numbers.

It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

I bought 2006 but couldn't get interested in it (the feel was too much like its predecessors, which I played to death) so I'll take your word for it. 2007, on the other hand, is interfering with my real life. I concur with Gamespy that this is the best baseball game ever made.
Thanks,
R

Glad you're enjoying the game. I have logged this as TT #3474, hopefully we can get this one squared away!

Thanks,

Steve
