[OSX] quietly crashing to desktop during player import.

Using a Mac Mini Core Duo, and OOTP has worked fine up until now. I can't think of anything I've changed, anyway...

Two things, possibly interrelated:

1) I attempt to start a historical league (using either the Gambo database or the Lahman database) and the import process gets to the Importing Players screen, which then freezes at 0%, with the program quitting after about 30 seconds without so much as a by-your-leave. (I mean, it does report as a crash in the Console, but who checks that?)

2) I attempt to start a fictional league and all of the teams, instead of city names, have names like Team 1 Marauders, Team 12 Eagles, etc.

Has my copy of OOTP somehow forgotten where the data folder is? Or perhaps just the cities.txt file?

Try reinstalling and applying the new patch which was just released. I'm not on a Mac, but this would be a logical place to start.
