Online League File & Reports Issues

Not sure if this is the right forum so move as you see fit. Couple of problems with the league files created in 2007. Even though game logs are supposed to be saved in the file, they are not being added to the files. My owners aren't getting them but they are in my game.

Also, news stories are not being saved to the game file, or at least they seem to show up randomly.

The commish automation works really nicely. Now if we can get the game files to save what is checked off, I'll be really happy

I'm having similar problems with various files being left out of the league file and especially the reports.

You need to check the game logs in the leagues list AND in the reports list like this:

No game logs for the owners sounds like you are talking about the game file and not the reports. Are you copying, archiving and uploading all within the game? If so, the options that Andreas is talking about are not what you need. You need to get your items checked and specify the number of days to include for boxes and logs in the area where you do this part.

Huh? Every place where these things can be produced (in the reports settings and in the game file settings) are checked correctly. The game does produce these things for me in the game. The league file is not including them even though the settings are checked properly. I need more specifics than "You need to get your items checked and specify the number of days to include for boxes and logs in the area where you do this part" because as far as I can tell, everything is checked properly. Where is this other area you are referring to?

In my post above, the textbox with the "7" in it. There you can set the number of days.

But I guess you've found one of those bugs which are fixed in patch #1! OOTP had problems with files having a size of zero bytes. Please try again with the patch when it's available. Will be during the next days.

I just checked again. The league file settings are to include files (logs, etc.) from the past seven days. This is not happening.

You can also try to find zero byte files and delete them.

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."

If you disagree, please let us know, it's no problem to re-open this. It's an administrative thing we do to try to ensure that only active issues are being researched.
