Help with reassigning personnel..

I just read the manual and I know that I should be able to promote/demote personnel within my organisation. I this case I have a talented manager at the rookie league level who I want to manage my AAA club. The manual says if I assign the rookie league guy to the AAA manager position that the two should swap positions, which is waht I want to do. The offer position action button does not give the AAAteam manager position as an option. It only offers the various manager/coach positions at the rookie league and the Major league team level.
Any hints or tip on what I may have overlooked?
If I misread the manual, and this interorganisational movement can't be done, then I will be dissapointed indeed.

I think you will have to create an opening at your triple A level first. Unless there's another way to do it.

My understanding was that this was a great new feature in '07... but seems to have fallen by the wayside as far as execution. Is this a feature that didn't make it? Or a bug somewhere?

Thank goodness, I thought I was the only one who couldn't figure this out... Any answers would be much appreciated. I have a great manager at A-ball whoo would be twice as good as my AAA guy... Only problem is, I can't have the two swap spots.

I'm bumping this hoping for an answer for all of us (and my AAA club!

This actually DID work in 2006, until the final patch 'broke' it. The workaround is tedious, but you can promote the Rookie guy to a position on the major league club, then promote the AAA guy to the same position. (This bumps the ex-Rookie to AAA.) Then promote the ex-major league guy back to his old position, which will bump the ex-AAA guy down to Rookie.

Having to go through all of that is stupid, especially when this worked perfectly well until the final build for 2006. Just put it back please, Markus.
