NBA Awards if season end today

Eastern Conference MVP L. James,Coach of the Year Riley or Eddie Jordan or Mike Brown or Brian Hill or Sam Mitchell,Rookie of the Year T. Thomas or JJ Redick
Western Conference MVP Dirk or Steve Nash,Rookie of the Year Brandon Roy,Coach of the Year Sloan or Van Gundy
Because Baseball does it for both Leagues the others Sports should to.

I like the 5 way race for coach of the year
If you coach one of the 8 teams with a shot at a Eastern conference playoff spot, mgom thinks you have a shot at coach of the year!

Because it makes little sense to wait another eight games.

This thread title should include the thread start date. We can make a new one everyday during the season.

Jordan wasn't a point guard.

That's right. He was more like a 30-point guard.

Jordan was a shooting guard. Sort of like Allen Iverson (or vice versa in respect to His Airness) in that he didn't bring the ball up the court very often but once the offense was set, the ball was in his hands the majority of the time.

I agree, with your coaches. I mean what Brian Hill is doing in a weak division with the best Center in the East is COY worthy IMO. Who else would have that team 4 games below .500 at this point in the season?

The MVP has to be Dirk - the best player on the best team. That's pretty much the criteria they used with Nash.
