2912 - He gets paid what?????

Boy, this guy is realllly in debt to the team:

Paco Medellin, Single A bench coach in the Angels farm system..

Age: 45
Years left: 3
Salary: -$1,445,792,150

What do you think this coach did to owe his team $1.4 billion?

Luckily for him, he's not the only one. But I bet he wishes he was getting paid like the Single A coaches in the Athletics farm system. They're averaging over a billion dollars in salary. Maybe he could borrow from them?

I set up a simple 16 team league. Simmed 20 years. Expanded by 4. Simmed 30 years, expanded by 4 again. Simmed 5 years, added a full minor leagues, raised the draft to 100 rounds/players to fill the minor league systems. Decided to check payrolls before I set a salary cap... low and behold, it looks like this:

<table class="lpo" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="298"><tbody><tr><td class="srg">1</td><td class="slg">Cincinnati Reds</td><td class="srg">$1,893,207,566</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">2</td><td class="sl">Detroit Tigers</td><td class="sr">$1,507,328,531</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">3</td><td class="slg">St. Louis Cardinals</td><td class="srg">$477,599,546</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">4</td><td class="sl">Atlanta Braves</td><td class="sr">$207,462,376</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">5</td><td class="slg">Los Angeles Dodgers</td><td class="srg">$2,064,807</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">6</td><td class="sl">Seattle Mariners</td><td class="sr">$1,822,319</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">7</td><td class="slg">Kansas City Royals</td><td class="srg">$1,614,969</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">8</td><td class="sl">Pittsburgh Pirates</td><td class="sr">$1,612,602</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">9</td><td class="slg">Chicago Cubs</td><td class="srg">$1,473,903</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">10</td><td class="sl">Chicago White Sox</td><td class="sr">$1,402,750</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">11</td><td class="slg">Baltimore Orioles</td><td class="srg">$1,388,903</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">12</td><td class="sl">Philadelphia Phillies</td><td class="sr">$1,344,133</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">13</td><td class="slg">Cleveland Indians</td><td class="srg">$1,240,602</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">14</td><td class="sl">San Francisco Giants</td><td class="sr">$1,082,121</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">15</td><td class="slg">Washington Nationals</td><td class="srg">$1,080,631</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">16</td><td class="sl">San Diego Padres</td><td class="sr">$964,262</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">17</td><td class="slg">Houston Astros</td><td class="srg">$888,170</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">18</td><td class="sl">Florida Marlins</td><td class="sr">$574,051</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">19</td><td class="slg">New York Yankees</td><td class="srg">$-130,131,439</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">20</td><td class="sl">Boston Red Sox</td><td class="sr">$-536,228,301</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">21</td><td class="slg">New York Mets</td><td class="srg">$-597,438,673</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">22</td><td class="sl">Colorado Rockies</td><td class="sr">$-992,867,576</td></tr> <tr><td class="srg">23</td><td class="slg">Oakland Athletics</td><td class="srg">$-1,693,023,414</td></tr> <tr><td class="sr">24</td><td class="sl">Anaheim Angels</td><td class="sr">$-1,980,970,776</td></tr></tbody></table>
What on earth is going on here? I never touched the financial coefficient. I have "import adjusted financial settings after each year" checked. Weird thing is, it's only happening to coaches in the minor leagues. Player salaries are fine.

Only played OOTP less than a week my entire life and already found 3 weird bugs . Not that I'm saying it's a bad or buggy game or anything... just some weird occurances on the first 3 leagues I've tried to start (can't move expansion teams, draft bug, now this.).

Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?
