How did the PbP read? If you'll notice in the game log, the hit location is 25. That means the ball trickled up the third base line between third base and home plate. The baserunner, in all likelihood, would have run right into a tag out, had he tried scoring.

The PbP can be cryptic at times. It takes a doctorate in hieroglyphics to decipher it sometimes.
