Creating player problem...
I have already started a league and I wanted to create some players of actual people I know in there. I found the create player under commish mode, but it only creates random players. Is it possible to name and set ratings to before a player is created? Thank you.

I never found one, which doesn't mean there isn't one, but I just edited a crappy player that wouldn't be missed, you can change everything you need to create your own player

Probably the easiest way to do this is is to export the rosters for your league, and edit all of the players in the text file, and then re-import.

It would be much easier to have it the way it used to be in earlier versions.
One button: create a player. Call up the player page, click edit, and edit the player's name, etc. Change the player attributes generated by the game and make him as weak or as strong as you want. In a game that seems to be so fictional league friendly, it really should be much simpler to create fictional players. I'm one of those who, in earlier versions of OOTP, very much enjoyed creating people I know as players in the game, and then following their careers as they progressed (or not) through my fictional baseball universe. |
