game stadium screen shows, then capute

Following the stadium screen a message states that because of a problem in ootp2007.exe it has to shut down.
Details show problem:
AppName ootp2007.exe
ModVer 6.13.10.2911
OffsetVer 2.0.0.0
ModName nvoghlnt.dll
(upon investigating this is Module 43)

Don't know what to do, can anyone help.
I've run as: (just where is administrator)

The nvoglnt.dll file is used by Nvidia for OpenGL support. Have you had any problems with other graphics in the game, like Facegen?

You might want to try updating the video drivers.

I've seen some having to disable facegen and ran across a thread that showed how to do just that.
I'll try that first, as I am a pc novice.
Just how and where do you go to up grade a video driver.

I went into the files and disabled the facegen, and eureka, the game main screen came up.
What a great bunch of players we have on this forum.
The quickest answer and to the point ever received regarding a problem in a pc game.Thanks again
