Historical League Issues

Imported using Lahman using year of 2006. The league imported and loaded stats on each players screen through end of 2005 like expected. However, if you go into history like looking at all world series, it shows the results of 2006 world series. Seems odd it would only import player stats through 2005 yet have world series stats including 2006. Seems inconsistent. I'm really getting concerned there will be no way to import historical data up until 2006 and begin from there without this kind of weirdness. As I mentioned in another thread, also saw some issues where players stats were sorted incorrectly by year which also make me cautious.

Also noticed another strange thing once again importing 2006 league. With the option to "keep this years stats in current stats" option selected. One of my players in real life was traded before the end of 2006 season. However, after doing the import, this player remains on my team. I guess I could expect that since it probably uses the start of 2006 as the determination for player placement. However, within the players stat screen, it shows his stats for time playing on my team and the team he was traded to. This really confuses things since he starts off on my team. Probably should not be on my team. Not sure what can be done about this, but it really appears I can not accomplish what I want to from a historical setup perspective without all these little issues. This is ultimately what I'm trying to do:

1) Using lahman historical data - importing all stats through end of 2006.
2) Start in the year 2007, with all that past history data loaded

Seems like an easy request, but so far too many little issues coming out.

FWIW, the traditional idea of importing 20XX or whatever season is to actually play that season out. I don't think the ability to import to exact present then play out ONLY future seasons has ever been part of the game. Just giving my .02

Thanks for the heads up.....but if that is true, that is too bad. I really like playing with player history pre loaded versus having players start with no history whatsoever. Just seems like somethign missing without having the past associated with a player.
