Gambo vs. Lahman vs. Rosters Question

I've been playing OOTP since OOTP3. I've never used these 2 databases aside from looking at them. They are impressive; very detailed and include statistics for historical accuracy which is vital for me. What is the best option to start with a 2007 MLB season? If I use the Gambo does it "really" include minor leaguers? Would this give me more depth than waiting for a MLB roster set? Would I be able to start in 2007 with the Gambo database? If so, why do we even need a "roster set."

I've been reading and lurking while looking for answers here and there the past few days. I haven't bought the game yet as I'm going on a cruise tomorrow and figured I'd wait to read impressions after I get back. I would ultimately be waiting for some sort of roster file to turn up before purchasing as well. God bless the roster creators, I wish I had that kind of time!

None of the "databases" will give you 2007 players. For 2007 wait for someone to release "rosters". Probably cubbyfan will be 1st

Any chance in your next update you include full Rosters meaning Minor League Rosters from that year to because it would help me in making World Series Rosters?
