Game Crashes After Manual Award Voting

Just tried manually selecting the award winners for one of my high school feeder leagues and when I was finished the game crashed. Everything else so far is nice though.

Franklin, do you mean the game crashed when you clicked "Finish"?

Also, this was awards, correct, not all-star?

What was the game date (approximately)?

I'm not sure of the actual text, but yes I selected all the award winners and then pressed finish or complete or whatever it said. It was the award winners not the all-star and I'd hazard a guess that it was somewhere in the neighborhood of June 1st. Post May, but definitely pre my leagues June 15th ammy draft.

Then it couldn't be the awards (unless you have a really short season that ends in May), because those don't show up to vote on until after the season ends.

Sorry, not much help...

Well, there's at least one bug: once the All-Star voting is enabled, you can actually get into the manual awards page and vote. But I haven't managed to crash it yet.

(I've logged that one as 2975)

Franklin, is there any way you could try to reproduce this issue, perhaps by simming until about the same time in the next season and trying it again?

I've tried a few things, but haven't been able to replicate this issue...

Sure I can...for all I know it could be a memory issue, though I haven't had any notices about lack of memory.

Just had it happen to me. Structure is one major league, AAA, AA, A, R. Class A season finished ... August 28 was the date ... and I was asked to do the manual awards. I had the computer pick, then I adjusted. I left the "name your own award" thing blank, since I hadn't named an award. Hit finish, got the "are you sure" prompt, said yes, and program crashed.

Masoo, just to confirm, for which league were you assigning the awards? Single A?

Yes, Single A. My previous save was for earlier in the month, so I'm replaying. Will save before I try to awards stuff, then if it crashes, will try again letting the computer pick, and report back. Would have done so earlier but I had to do real life stuff :-).

OK, again I apologize ... getting used to certain aspects of the new game mean I'm missing some things.

I waited for the notice to pop up on my Manager Home screen, telling me to manually vote for the awards. Nothing was coming up, and I couldn't figure out why, until I realized that the earlier time, when I was told I could do voting, I had the Class A manager's screen up. By the time I realized this, the computer had chosen the awards.

FWIW, I did get to do the major league awards. First I had the computer make its picks, then I changed the picks for pitcher and hitter of the year. No problems, all worked fine. So I've got nothing conclusive to report, I'm afraid, but I don't like to leave things stranded, so I posted this message.

OK, I'll try to do some testing later. Real life stuff here too. I appreciate the help trying to narrow this down. I hate crashes more than anything!
