To give a little more in-depth intro, there's a new feature in OOTP 2007 that allows you to set your Allstar team in-game. This utility will automatically generate Allstar ballots from the .csv dumps of your league, and allow your league GM's to vote for their allstars in each conference.

Any mods I create will be posted to http://www.ootpmodsquad.com/, most likely the online section of that site (that's pretty much all the mods I do). The 2007 dev reports and draft util will be posted there...

Very nice! I assume it pulls the player's position from the primary position listed in the game? May have just a little editing to do, but this is still going to be a huge time saver. Thank you!

Actually, the utility looks at the position the player played the most. There's also a minimum innings played parameter (user settable). If the player hasn't played enough innings at one position, the player will appear as a DH (assuming the league supports DH's... otherwise, it's position with the most innings played, assuming he meets the minimum PA requirement).

Similar thing for pitchers, there's a minimum # of games started and minimum # of innings pitched, all user settable, that will determine whether the pitcher appears as a starter, reliever or not at all.

Lastly, only players that are in the top 5-10 of their position in a stat category (batting average, HR's, wins, ERA, etc) will appear on the ballot. This is so you don't get tons of useless scrubs that you have to look through. On average, it's about 10 players per category on the ballot, except OF, SP and relievers, where's there's a few more.

Sure, although it's of lower priority... It's pretty easy to find the best 5 pitchers and best 5 players and throw a vote up on the forums to vote. Should be pretty simple to modify the allstar code for it, though... the hardest part would be to come up with nifty graphics for it (not my strong point).

Up first is the 2007 draft util (coming this weekend), and then a rule V draft util (no idea how long that will take).
