Sample custom jerseys from my fictional league

Here are some jersey samples that I used my preview creating. These are for my fictional league athough some teams I have used real names. Some I have created using just the game templates, others I created using some of my modified templates. Enjoy

Excellent job!

What sizes are you finding work the best for hats and jerseys?

Are you using the 64x64 or lettting it resize 150x150 for the hats?

Jerseys? I've heard a few different sizes for the lettering to work right. What size have you found works for that? Are you aligning the text near the bottom?

Great work on those and thanks for sharing them!

For the most part, I was using 150x150 for the hats, but I used the actual hat texture in some of them so I would just re-size the graphic the way I liked in photoshop right onto the texture.

Jersey scripting isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. Generally, I take a graphic (or some text I did in Illustratot) and re-size it to a width of 130 pixels. (The Max is 140 but I didn't want them to go end to end. Then I would place it onto a 140x100 blank transparent image and situate it so the very top of the text was about 80% from the top of the image and then move the text almost all the way to the right of the image. (I hope I'm explaining this ok)

Anyway, there really isn't much else to do other than fill with the appropriate colors.

I will post more on the creation process once I nail down some things as I am still experimenting. I hope you understand.

I'm happy for the positive feedback and look forward to a lot of requests when the game finally gets released.

Cheers

Mike

Great job by you with the uni's and hats, but whats with the weird chin hair? no goatees, only bushy chin hair? And not just in yours, but in all the facegens I've seen, the players look fat-ish and not much like athletes. Like Norm from Cheers.

Bushy chin hair is usually called a goatee.

I would like to see a Van Dyke though - mustache & goatee combined

Maybe even burnsides and mutton chops for the 1800's leagues too?
