From what I've noticed, ootp4 is a fairly tweakable title. Everything from player ratings to league structure can be easily altered by the player.
With that in mind, what added functionality will the editor include? Perhaps I lack a vivid imagination, but I can't for the life of me think of anything that I'd currently like to tweak that I can't already access by conventional means. [ 05-13-2002, 08:55 PM: Message edited by: RoboNewbie ] |

I'm not sure I know everything that it will be able to do but you will be able to:
-Edit statistics(past-present-future) -Export and import game data in many different formats Neither of these can be done from within the game itself.

By that do you mean that one could edit a player's career stats, which to my knowledge, currently can't be done? |

It also will allow for easy moving of players between teams which can be useful in setting up leagues. Also making trades without players from one side (trade for cash or a draft pick).

BLMEANIE,Steve or anyone, What is the best procedure to use to trade a player for cash, either with the editor or without it. I did a search, and I read one person was creating a player named cash, but I didn't get that. Also, where do you put the money? And , do you switch the money during the season or wait til after the season? Thanks, James

you could create a player named anything you want. Then trade the player (real) for the created player then delete the created player. As far as the cash, you would just go to each team and adjust their cash balances.
