OOTP Won't Run on My Computer

Here's my problem. I recently had to get a new computer because the old one operated on Windows Millenium. Due to the crappy shape my old computer was in, I was unable to back up my league onto a disk. The old computer still works, but is no longer hooked up on-line. Last night when I tried to play it, I got a message saying the game wasn't licensed. How can this be? Shouldn't I be able to play OOTP on this old computer? My college baseball dynasty is on hold right now because of this. My other old gaming programs (mainly Haffner games) still work.

Help!

Thanks!

I'm sure we can get things working but I need to know EXACTLY what happened. The more detailed the better.

Steve,

Thanks for your reply. First, I get this error message:

OOTP6.EXE
3
5
OK

Then I get the message that states my license has expired.

Why would this be? Once I've bought the product and it's on the same computer that I purchased it for, isn't it always licensed? Again, the computer is Windows Mil. and I've been playing OOTP 6.10 on it for a few years now.

Regardless, where do I go from here?

Thanks again, Steve.

Hey Batted Balls.
Call Elicense, ask them to unlicense your game, which they will do for you. Then re-license the game on your old or the new computer. I don't know about the files from your older computer. Does Windows ME allow you to restore to an earlier date?
