Will Top Prospects and Top Min League systems be back?
One thing i loved about the pre-2006 versions were the top prospect listing and top systems listing. It allowed me, when i felt it was time to rebuild, to take a quick look at the top prospects, or teams with the top minor league talent, and raid their cupboard for top young up and coming talent. It also gave me a quick look at how my draft picks were doing in comparison w/ other draft picks. If i picked a guy #1 overall, and he wasnt on the top 100 prospects list...then id know i had fd up the pick. It was a great feature, and one i assume would be easy to program and include in the game.
Is this back in the 2007 version?? Please tell me what I want to hear!! Thanks guys. |

And, to answer your question, it's also in 2007.

There's also a positional ranking report in 2007.

As well as a minor league report that suggest to you if your players are overmatched at their league, or if they should be moved up.

Ah yes, I remember that. That used to be implemented in old OOTP's. I can't remember if its was in 2006, or even 6.5, but I always tended to disregard the opinions. The scout would tell me someone was overmatched, and I'd go look and see they had a .300 average, or at least were posting good stats. I don't know if anyone else saw that similarly as I did, but I htought it was a bit silly to see that

For prospects or major leaguers?
Either way, that is fantastic. I used to drop those lists in excel to sort by "position", but in game is much better.

Both. The report will rank the top players, for each position, in the major leagues. And there is a separate ranking for the minor leaguers. And then there is an organizational (which takes into consideration both major and minor leauguers) ranking for each position. |

. . .and getting those lists into Excel more is already more efficient, and I'm trying to get a second level of efficiency improvements in the scouting area added. |
