the draft pool and MS Excel

so i'm hoping to import all my scout data into excel so that i can arrange it, average it out, and sort it real nice-like. the problem appears to be that, since i've got 3 scouts that i'm pulling data from for both hitters and pitchers, it seems that i'm going to have to do this process:

page 1 -> report -> open report -> open in external browser -> copy/paste into excel -> back -> page 2 -> report -> open report -> open in external browser -> copy/paste into excel -> back -> page 3 ...

an exceptional amount of times. is there a better way? thanks

Hah!

I don't want to make fun of you; in fact, I am doing the same stupid thing in my online league at this very minute.

In 2007, it is a good deal easier, but could stand to be improved. I have most of a mock up of what I want from Andreas to give me ONE file for hitters and ONE file for pitchers to copy into Excel.

Ping me about this issue in about 10 hours for a status report. AIM = raidergoo6802

EDIT

You run the Seattle Mariners, don't you?

I am not exactly sure what screens you are talking about, but try this:

If the data is in an HTML table, you can right click the table and select EXPORT TO EXCEL. This is easier than copying and pasting.

Also, lets say you export from a htm page called page.html, and save it in an excel sheet called mystats.xls, if you set it up properly, then you can regenerate the html page with new stats, then just open the excel sheet and it will get the updated stats.
