Wow

Added the ability to move player positions via drag & drop in the ballpark editor & in-game screen
I'm speechless...every time I read the changes list I find something new...I can now retire 6.5

Try to temper your enthusiasm until you actually see the game. That being said, I'm glad you're excited. You have reason to be.

this was one of my biggest requests and pet peeves of the past (x/y coordinates are so 1985) and let me tell you it works perfectly! I also use to complain about the edit park being different then the full screen in-game park but the ability to drag and drop makes it a totally moot point.

bottom line, easy as can be any player place holder can be moved during the game just as easy as drag and drop.

easily one of the best improvements for me in years.

Not asking for in-game but in the ballpark editor, can those dragged and dropped settings be transmitted to all ballparks still?

yes - in the ballpark edit you can assign coordinates to all parks.

however still missing is the very useful import and export a ballpark feature.

dang wish the import/export function was back in. Would make historical leagues much easier. But at least we can edit them easier. In 2006 i never bothered with the ballparks cause it was so much work.

I do want import/export back in - but I think for your specific reference I did read that ballpark data is configured AUTOMATICALLY for historical play.

Now I will need to verify this, because to be quite honest I have yet to check this (I have mostly been running long sims to make sure the stats look right) but if it is true, and I swear I read about it, it makes the historical and ballpark issues a snap.

This is one more example of the 'fun' being back in the game after the disaster of OOTP 2006. Markus truly focused on fixing the in-game and historical simming aspects.

That would be really cool. Just adding the images wouldnt take that much time, just the other data is what would take a long time. Especially in the early years when teams chaned parks a lot.
