So...OOTP2007

Doesn't seem enough for me...

The historical stuff and expansion looks pretty dang cool and if it works, it might be a reason to buy. But the rest doesn't seem like enough. I mean the format still sucks and the rest seems like minor updates. Oh well, maybe 2008 . I didn't buy OOTP6, so I can skip a year.

Only reason I'll be getting it is I wanted a mac version of OOTP. Might as well wait a few months for this one.

MM, you're going to eat your words when the game is released.

So did they ever get those financial coeffiecent & modifers working afterwards... or do we still not know what they do beyond guessing. I purchased OOTP2006 the day it came out, won't be doing this ever again until I have confirmation that the development staff actually knows how features within the game, they created, work.

I was probably an OOTP fanboy before last year's verison, no I'm in the wait & see group.

Too many "added" not enough "fixed" or "improved".

I get the idea that '07 worked more on fixing and improving and less on adding, which is 100% fine with me. I didn't buy '06 because I feared it was bigger on the adding than on the fixing and improving, and it sounds like I made a good decision. I'll be snatching up '07 right away, though. I honestly wouldn't mind if future versions of OOTP7 each added very little in the way of new features but focused on improving the existing game.

As expected the romance of the first day of news now gets overtaken with doom and gloomers.

All I will say over and over is don't sit here judging the game, wait for the demo and try it for yourself. That is the only way you'll know if it's for you.

Yeah, it certainly seems that way.

I'm not ready to have my balloon popped just yet by dark prophecies of doom & gloom. Maybe Silvam should start that Malleus Dei poll after all.

Wow!!! This is the first time I've ever seen a thread taken OUT of OT and put INTO general discussions.... am I dreaming? A new direction indeed.
