New 1942 league

I'm starting an OOTP 2006 1942 league on January 2nd. The league will be called When The Greats Played (WTGP).
The league will explore what would have happened without WWII.
It will feature a reserve clause which will be in effect until events warrant otherwise (possibly till before Curt Flood or possibly till after Flood). The way the reserve clause will work is that I, who will, of course, not have a team, will represent the players and control whether or not they are willing to sign a contract.* Players have the option of holding out.
10 players may be placed on the reserve list and other players without contracts will go to Free Agency. Automatic resigns and arbitration will still be used which will help to limit the number of free agents. Era correct financials will be used.
Free Agency will be done in a multiple phase blind auction format. By multiple phase, I mean that the Free Agents will be divided up into groups and bids on each group will be done one at a time.
Only one year contracts will be allowed.
WTGP will not hold an annual rookie draft. Instead, players will be assigned to their real life times. Thus, we will follow all realignments and expansions.
Each league (the American and the National) will vote as a league whether or not to use a DH.
There will be three 14 day sims a week.
To join, please submit your name, e-mail, and aim addy if you have one/use one. There will be a lottery to determine the order in which people get to pick teams. No hard feelings if you decide to leave the league rather than take your second choice of teams.

We will have to actually go with 1941 because a 1942 import would not have players away at war.

I like this idea. I have never done an online league before, but I'd like to try this one if you don't mind having me fumble around and ask lots of questions.

Possibly interested but curious as to why you'd run 14 day sims. Seems to me that would conflict with the 15 day DL. You place a player on the 15 day DL, a sim is run. The player has 1 more day on the DL, but you won't get him off for 14 more days (after the ensuing sim). Or am I missing something.
