The FIBB has an opening

Paris Guillotines
Feature I just wrote on them: Commish looks at Paris

FIBB.net / FIBB Forums

The FIBB is a 24-team league with fictional teams spread across the globe. However, we started with the 2003 MLB players and a grueling 60 round dispersal round. Most of those original MLBers are now old and retired as we are currently in the 2021 season (our 19th simmed season). We have some nice BOSI-based features on our homepage (positional rankings, sortable team & player stats) as well as some outside of OOTP features like our Local Heroes, restricted free agency, Winter Ball League, etc.

Nothing against any of the great long running leagues out there, but I've never been a part of a league that is as active as the FIBB. This is generally a great thing, but can also bring some increased scrutiny to trades and owner decisions. The bottom line is that the forums are always hopping (even if we're talking about the lastest hot games or the latest news of the weird or our eternal fear of zombie infestation ) and there are always guys to talk trade with. We have a great little online community and if you are an active board troller, you are going to love the FIBB.

The FIBB does have heightened participation requirements. We use a Participation Point System and require every owner to write enough to accumulate 20 Participation Points for each season (sounds harder than it is) as well as requiring exports and a few league votes (Hall of Fame, All-Stars, Owner's Choice Awards). There are lots of very nice Rewards to buy with your hard-earned PPTs and the focus is definitely on just having fun and doing some writing - not being great at it. We sim M / W / F in the evenings. The league still sims on OOTP 6.12 and has no plans to move past that version.

If interested PM me directly here or just come over to the FIBB Forums and register and fill out the Welcome to the FIBB! Q&A in the New Applicants section. Thanks!

Not a member, but have been a long-time fan of this league. Well worth considering if you want a baseball experience.
