Future Forties League has openings

The FFL is looking for some new owners to join our league next season. We're about to complete our 5th season, and we've recently lost 3 long time owners, and are still looking for someone to take over Anaheim, who has been ownerless for most of the season.

The 2049 Season will be beginning soon, and we're looking for a few new owners to take over our few vacant and soon to be vacant franchises.

We're a 6.5 league, and yes, you must have the game to join. We sim MON/WED/SAT, and during the offseason, you can add players from our sister leagues the UBF (European League) and the VL (an alternate US based league) that runs alongside the FFL.

The league is semi-laid back, but we have a great ownership group, and are part of a larger community at SimCentral.net.

Check us out, we're sure you'll find us to be a great experiance.

These open teams are:

The Boston Red Sox
A perrianial contender, the Red Sox have fallen short of reaching the playoffs in recent years. However, they have a great makeup, and with some tweaking, could be a serious force for years to come with stars like the outfield of Bonner, Martinez & Puckett, who can all put up MVP type numbers, and rising stars like SP's Gagne, Turner, Clancy and Ruiz, not to mention old man Pedro Zavala, who's proving to be the Clemens of the FFL.
SOLD

The Anaheim Angels
Anaheim has been ownerless for most of 2048, and is in need of some serious rebuilding. Kyle and Brito are a few of the standouts, but the team is so-so, with no major stars to talk about that are under the age of 30, yet at least. With several aging vets soon to be gone, the Angels may be in line to be big spenders next season depending on the free agent market and the VL/UBF imports, or they could go for a youth movement and deal off everything in sight for young talent.

The San Francisco Giants
Another canidate for rebuilding, the Giants have more to work with than the Angels. Ryan Hart won 20 games on this team, and starters Beckett, Pierre, and Howell can be reuilt around The Giants need a better bullpen to get the games to their Closer Wills, and of course, more offense wouldn't hurt them either.
SOLD

The Arizona Diamondbacks
The D-Backs came so close to making it to the playoffs this season, but fell slightly short of those goals. This team is made to win, and the previous GM did a great job of adding pieces. If not for some key injuries, it isn't hard to see these guys in the playoffs instead of the Padres. With Halman, Akande, 2047 Rookie of the Year Jay Pujols, Tiger Grift, and Jim Brooks, these guys should be able to challenge for the division title next season. Putting in a few more of the right pieces should get them back over .500 where they belong, and into a really hard dogfight with the Padres and possibly the Giants.

Seriously, this is a great league with a dedicated commish, a great backstory and really nice owners. My favorite fictional league, no doubt!
Come and join!

Boston has been sold, San Francisco, Anaheim and Arizona remain on the market for new ownership. The 2049 offseason starts on Tuesday, so now is a great time to get aboard one of OOTP's more unique leagues!

We still have the Angels and Diamondbacks left. FA starts tomorrow, so now is the perfect time to join up!

Anahiem has the #8 pick in the draft, and Arizona has the #13th pick!

Just a friendly BUMP! The FFL is still looking to fill these two teams, and we're just about a half a week from Opening Day 2049!
