Strangest fictional names
What's the strangest fictional name you've ever seen in OOPT4? Mine would have to be Lemuel Gooch......can't get much stranger than that.

I have been simming one league for 31 years and the number one pick in the last draft was 19 year old SP - Harry Guy.
I think he is the grand-son of former Raiders punter Ray Guy. |

Ran across a fictional player nammed Benjamin Grimm! For you younger folks that the name of "The Thing" from the fantastic four.
But the best has to be "Richard Weed", who was a number on pick. He was VERY good, and just couldn't allow than name to enter the record books, so I changed it to Brad. |

In my historical league, among the current starters are Harry Bush, Peter Ready, and Dick Dicks. Plus I can only blame myself for them, I'm using the Historical Name Generator file set I made.

I've had a William Williams as well.
John Lennon was a great relief pitcher for the A's in my Smokies league. I haven't really gone out of my way to look for absolutely humorous names, but I recently generated 25 years worth of my 1901 fictional league into Baseball Reference pages, so I'll look around more in a bit. I think Richard Weed and Harry Guy are hilarious names.

This guy was a crappy MR for the NBSL's Baltimore Orioles but his name was Dick Swallow
Mike Tyson was a power hitting LF for my solo league Washington Senators. I was always checking the news to see if he bit someone's ear off. |

It wasn't in OOTP, but in the HHSL, a high heat sim league taht I'm in, there's a catching prospect for the Brewers by the name of Harry Cox. A motion to change his name was not accepted
