BALL2, 2002 Revenue Sharing, $85m salary cap league has an opening!

BALL2, a Christian (gasp!) 2002 league, currently has two openings and may have more as we replace inactive owners.

BALL2 started with actual MLB contracts (average salaries of contracts, ignoring clauses and option years), has implemented the sharing of all non-attendance revenues, the normalizing of fan interest factors, and will have an $85m salary cap in place for next season. We're in the FA period right now, until Monday 7/12/02, then the amateur draft which will consist of 34 rookies from 2002 and the class of 1980.

Baltimore is currently available, and there could be others open up soon.

I think it was meant as a pun based on the poster's monicker "PlanetEminem." You advertised a "Christian league" and Eminem says "no thanks." Not a great attempt a humor, but that was what I think he might have been trying to do, rather than an actual insult against your league.

BTW, I used to go through Safeway muttering "yes," "no," and "AH! That tomato is trying to kill me!!!" But, I am better now... at least when I remember to take the Zoloft...

No, it wasn't an attempt at humor at all. He was posting to say he didn't want to be in the league. Kevin is right, he should just click the back button and move on.
