New player looking for an opening

I'm new to OOTPBB, and have OOTP2006 on a Mac. I've been playing around with fictional leagues and with a historical 2004 season (yes, I'm a Red Sox fan:-) ) I've been having a lot of fun with it so far. The amount of detail is just amazing.

An online league sounds like fun, but I'd like to find one that's not to "intense" so that I'd be able to keep up. To get a feel for the online playing maybe taking over an abandoned franchise for the rest of the season would work, in a league that wouldn't require me to work on it every night.

Look into the WWBL, we're looking for owners, and we're pretty chill. I think there's a recent post from the commish in this forum.
