Waiver wire

I've got what's probably a stupid question.

Whenever I put a player on waivers, no one ever claims him. Plus, I can't seem to find the waiver wire. I've found the free agents tab, where my players end up after they clear waivers, but there doesn't seem to be an actual waiver wire where I can put in a claim.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to league transactions and tab over to waivers (you should see other tabs there for free agents, personel, etc)

That's the weird part (at least to me). I see Free Agents, Personnel, etc, but now waivers...

You should be able to reach the Waiver Wire by clicking the League button and selecting Transactions. When it is available, the Waiver Wire appears between Free Agents and Player Trade.

The game guide says (p.137), "There are seven pages in the Transactions section, but several of those pages appear or disappear depending on the current circumstances. For example, the Draft Pool page is available only shortly before the annual amateur draft, if there is one." Compare the screen print on page 138, where Waiver Wire appears, to the one on page 137, where it does not.

Here's something to check: It could be something as simple as you have the waiver option disabled (Game, Game Setup, League Setup, Rules, Waiver Period Length). If so, you will never see a Waiver Wire page even though you can still put players on waivers in your team's Waivers & DFA transaction page.

Here's another possibility. I found that if you are playing a league without any affiliated minor leagues, the waiver option does not appear on league rules page at all, and there is no Waiver Wire page, even though you can still put people on waivers as above. It could be that the waiver system will not work without the possibility of demotion to minors. Perhaps this is your situation?
