What In the World is Going On?
I am trying to copy league files into the folder that I designate in the Create Reports & FTP Upload screen, and the game copies the files and subfolders into C:\ regardless of what I enter for my folder to copy files into. Even if I press ENTER as the game says, to make sure that the path is updated, I end up with all the files put in C:\. It updates the path next to "upload from" after I hit enter, but it never actually puts my files in this location. I am pressing the copy files to this location button, and they only go to C:\
This is maddening. Last edited by Charlie Hough; 08-25-2006 at 01:32 AM. |

Is anyone from SI/OOTP reading the tech forum lately? No response yet.

This is strange. I had this problem at one point, but it was because I didn't have the path typed in case sensitive. Once I capitalized what needed to be capitalized it worked great.
This might be the problem, although I could be the only one stupid enough to not know that :-). |

I discovered what the problem was in my case. If the folder does not already exist, OOTP will not create it for you. I had not physically created the folder in Windows and had expected the game to create the folder and store the files there. But apparently it expects the folder to be there, and if it isn't there the game drills up one step in the path to save the files, and that was C:\ in my case.
It might be nice for this to be fixed so the game will create a folder if necessary. |

I agree.
And I think that happened to me as well, but I forgot. :-) |
