Quick 1.0.3 Update

OK, I have been busy clearing down the bugs and Testtrack, and almost all of them are fixed now. Here is the list of changes/fixes so far (although minor fixes are not listed):

- Players with a major league contract who are on DFA and no longer on the 40-man roster and cleared waivers may now be assigned to the minor leagues
- Improved player development & aging algorythms
- Tweaked development of market size, fan loyalty and fan interest
- Fixed ressheduling of allstar game problem
- Fixed allstar game date editing
- Improved importing of historical stealing ratings
- Fixed coaches causing staff expenses when leaving the team
- The "force trade" option now handles waiver trades properly
- Fixed several play-by-play issues
- Fixed HTML bug on team leaderboards report
- The "Download league files" menu button will now be shown for commishes as well
#2414 - Fixed amateur draft scheduling problems when importing real schedules
#2427 - Fixed display of fielding stats in player lists
#2430 - Erasing the service time now resets option years properly
#2023 - Fixed minor league contract extensions
#2288 - Fixed holds recording in played out games

The patch will hit beta testing this week

This is good news Markus. I'm just curious, did TT#2443 make the patch?

Yes, that was fixed. It now prompts you to log in again with your PW after downloading the league file.

Awesome! This was the biggest problem I was having with the last patch. Thanks for the work.

Bug fixes are always good, but I didn't see any new features listed. Are there any new or restored missing features in 1.03?

This is a PATCH, not a brand new version

That is an extensive list, and it would be awesome to get them all in. I hope that some useful features are added though. Can't wait to see.

Please look into the problem with too many leams showing negative cash after only a few years. In my new historic league starting in 1962 it is now 1964 and already 43 percent of teams have negative cash. When I try to trade I am getting the message that the team i am trading with can't afford the contracts of the player I am trying to trade. I know there is a TT# already on this problem

Heres a couple interface issues I have:

1. Pitching Screens = pitching stats 1 (default)/ratings & Lineup screens = batting stats 1 (default)/ratings

2. Scrollbars on all Sion screens are resetting to the top when you scroll down and click on a player and hit the back button.

I do have a question, however. Is there any hope that the AI Minors handling will be addressed in this version? Or is it too pervasive of a problem to be fixed in a short timeframe?

Oh! I see that TT 2366 has been addressed...I hope it pans out in the beta test!

Team overview (Minor League Report) would be a very nice addition.

IRL if you have a rookie tearing up A Ball, you're going to get a phone call telling you this and suggesting the kid is ready to try tougher competition. You receive nothing like this now. Scout your minors and make a decision based on stats/ratings. There should be feedback from your minor league staff, especially the manager.

What are some of the problems you are having, 1998 Yankees (which was the best team EVER might I add)? I'm running a fictional league, and all the good players are between the ages of 21-27 basically. I have stars who, once they turn 28, their careers go downhill and end up in the minors. I've adjusted my aging and development factors after reading the large thread about the aging problems, but it's still not helping.

I hope this problem will, indeed, be fixed.
