6.0 export into 6.5 import

I tryed a quick search on what i am about to post, but couldn't find really anything that could help me. If you know of anything, please direct me to it or post here.

I have the 6.12 game and am in a 6.5 league. When i export with the 6.12 game, it imports fine into the 6.5 game and the lineup is fine, but my problem is that a couple of my players don't play even if they are in the lineup/depth chart. One guy (who was a rule 5 draft guy) got like 3 or 4 starts in 15 games and another got like maybe 5 or 6. These guys are suppose to be everyday starters and aren't. Is it some sort of glitch/defect between the 6.12 and 6.5 game? It just seems odd because it imports what i've done, but when games are simmed, it doesn't use the 3B and C that i've talked about.
