Bug with Contract Option Year

So, the season ended, I got an email saying I had to make a decision on my team option on Eric Byrnes for 2008. I declined naturally and I got this message saying "This message has expired!" (note, I was doing this move the same day the email appeared).

Users are saying this is confusing. Perhaps after an action is taken, a more specific message can be left. For example, here after the option is taken it can say "Option Taken". Or if you decline it "Option Declined"
