Unhappy Has this ever happened to you?

I am doing a solo draft league with my Giants and the rolon rosters. I had a bad draft ending up with a future bound team anchored by Zito and Buerhle. I played 3 seasons with no luck with my team. In the 4the season my team started to show promise putting themslveds in the wild card hunt with 2 months to go. In this year I resigned Buerlhe and Zito to relativly low salry long term deals. With a monthand a half to go, Zito gets a season ending Injury, this coming after an 8 game slide that had already put me in a hole. So anyway I finish the season and move on to the next. I go to take zito off the dl and i check him out and he is rated a 0!!! at avoiding runs at only 26. Just threw 28 million dollars down the drain.

Cool

In the same general way it has. I had the Pirates in a fun league on my computer and traded for Jason Giambi at the trade deadline. I quickly poped the cash to him and went to sim the next day. (The day after the trade deadline.) After two Giambi at bats... he takes one in the face and I am stuck with 6 years at 8 mil a year with contact of 3 and power of 5. I guess the hitting coach was never able to keep him from stepping in the bucket. Not as bad as yours but with a small market team it hurt none the less.

Not nearly as bad as you 2, but in SO49, an online league, I just had picked up Ralph Branca. My scouts said he would be a future number 1 starter. Anyway, he hurt his back, and was out for the last 3 months of the season. This year, his ratings didn't drop severely, but he's now only gonna be a 2 or 3 guy....

Kinda similar....but then again, Branca is having a pretty good year, and financials are off. Def. feel for you guys though!
