Instillation help..
I downloaded Direct X and everything. But when I download the game it says file size expected= then has a bunch of number, file size= received bunch of numbers. Anyone know what I can do? I have the game on my home computer, and I think i had the same problem with it, but I cant remember what I did to fix it.

Answer copied from the post directly under your post:
Due to IE caching, known AOL download problems, or funky server fun your download was incomplete - here are steps to get a complete download: 1. Delete the incomplete file you just downloaded. 2. On your net browser: TOOLS --> INTERNET OPTIONS --> "GENERAL" tab, choose DELETE FILES in the TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES SECTION. 3. Download the file again. If the download error comes up again repeat the process until it works. Good luck! Also, the ootp ftp address seems to consistantly work for some users, meaning it may be some DNS issue at the ootp server. Trying their ftp patch link works for some users with no browser cache emptying required! |
