Rule 5 Issue

I was doing the rule 5 draft and went through 3 of my picks and then chose to have the computer complete the draft. I assumed this would complete the draft without the computer drafting any players for me but that was not the case. As you can see below I ended up with Wes Obermueller on my team.

Should I be able to complete the rule 5 draft without having the comp make autopicks for me? Also, can you resize the # of rounds in the rule 5? If not, u should be able to as 10 rounds seems lengthy.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but since were on the same subject of the rule 5 draft heres a quick question...How do you make a pick? You right click on the player and it gives you an option to draft that player correct? LOL.. I can't even make a pick because that option isn't available to me...

Started w/ 12260. 12262 patch, 3 roster spots on my 40 man are left.

On another note, I eventually gave up on trying to draft anyone and simmed the rest of the draft. Like you said the AI will draft FOR you.

I was able to drag and drop the player into a box in the bottom left corner and then a pick player button appears. Try that next time.

If you already have a full 40-man roster, you will not be able to make a selection.

Moreover, IIRC the rules of the Rule 5 draft, the draft will continue until no teams make a selection for an enitre round.

_bp,

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond to this thread.

I think, however, that jbsnadb has the right idea here. The length of the Rule 5 draft is as long as teams keep selecting players (which typically doesn't go more than a few rounds, since not many teams have 10 spots open on their 40-man roster).

So, technically, this is not a bug, but I will put a note in to see if Markus can add a feature to say "Complete draft without selecting any players or some such," to help speed up the process if you want to finish, but don't want the computer to pick anyone for you!
