Is it feasible to create a world of 2 seperate leagues - 1 with all Ohio teams & players and 1 with all West Virginia teams & players.

Now I have read how you can edit the cities file to create one of these scenarios, but is there a way to do it to where 2 co-exist in the same world?

To simplify,

I would like one league to be nothing but all Ohio players & teams. I would also like a league that is seperate from the Ohio league with West Virginia players and teams - but in the same world...if that makes sense.

Hopefully it is as clear as I thought it was before I wrote this.

Create two "new" nations named "United States (Ohio)" and "United States (West Virginia)" or whatever you want, then change the nation ID of the cities from those states to the nation ID of your two new "nations." You can also make copies of the cities in case you also want leagues or whatever in the regular USA.

This is much easier using Excel, BTW. (Or another program that can work with delimited files.)

What I suggest:

Create 2 new nations, Ohio and West Virginia

245,Ohio,U.S.A,USA,American,4,1,0,71,1,27,2,2,,
246,West Virginia,U.S.A,USA,American,4,1,0,71,1,27,2,2,,

Copy all OH and WV cities into a new file.

In that new file, rename the nation code for the OH cities to 245, and WV to 246.

Example from OH:

Howland Center,245,OH,6481,41.24,-80.74
Hoytville,245,OH,296,41.19,-83.78
Hubbard,245,OH,8284,41.15,-80.56
Huber Heights,245,OH,38212,39.85,-84.12
Huber Ridge,245,OH,4883,40.09,-82.91
Hudson,245,OH,22439,41.24,-81.43
Hunter,245,OH,1737,39.49,-84.28

Once you have that 2nd file done with all OH and WV cities, paste the end result back into your cities.txt file.

All OH and WV cities will now have 2 listings, one for nation 206 ( USA ) and one for the new nation.

Set you OH league in nation 245, set a low foreigner % ( maybe even 0% ), and the players will be Buckeyes. Same for your WV league.

Downside to this is that your MLB game will slightly be biased to OH and WV.

Never crossed my mind to make them seperate "nations". Makes pretty good sense to be now.
