Customize league with using roster sets from 2006?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this.. How do i make a custom league
using the roster sets that are availble of actual MLB Players from 2005. I want to dump all the players to a free agent pool and then put them on their
appropriate custom teams that i have using for 15 years.. Can i do this?
Or maybe what im asking is can you import any of the current roster sets and players into a custom league? Hope i explained this well.

This league will use either Official Rolen/Cubby Player sef or Mlb Quickstart
set.. if it can?

Let me know, i would like to set up my league this weekend if possible
