Latest Patch, New League, same ol Fatal Crash

I hope I'm posting this right, I just read to post your crashes in separate threads... 2 issues with the latest patch (July 20 release version), first the biggie (for me) and second the not so important non-crash issue (for me anyway).

Fatal Crash issue:
1) Ok, downloaded and installed new patch yesterday
2) Started new league from quick start menu (2 Leagues AL-NL, 3 Divisions each league, 4 teams erach division, Fictional w/ AAA, AA, A, Rookie only)
3) Simmed 35 seasons
4) Sept 30 on 35th season - "IE encountered an error and must..."
5) Re-booted, turned off computer, re-started computer, etc. etc. Game crashes everytime on Sept 30 (8 attempts made), you cannot advance to the next day no matter how you try to do it. You can sim the games of Sept 30 but it crashes as soon as you try to advance
6) Same exact fatal crash as I have reported 4 times now since the day the game was released. The only difference is that before this latest patch release (July 20) I could never make it past 20 simmed seasons before crashing, this time I made it to the 35th simmed season before crashing so it appears something has improved or changed but in the end still fatal

Non-Crash Patch issue:
1) First downloaded and installed new patch, pulled up and simmed an existing league/team
2) Simmed one day complete
3) Noticed on my team (maybe others, don't know) I was managing that my top 3 players had signed free agent contracts with other teams and were gone gone, this was reported in the news on my team page
4) Problem was the players who signed for other teams still had 3 to 5 years left on their contracts with my team and these signings took place on July 25th in the middle of a season

I logged the first issue as TT # 2389, the second as 2388.

Can you possibly get us your .dat files?

IP Address: 217.158.3.6
Username: ftp-public
Password: public
folder ootp/game-save

You can FTP the file here using your handy web browser. Just navigate to ftp://217.158.3.6, and press Enter. Then enter the user name and password specified, and go into the ootp/game-save folder. Copy and paste your zipped league (just the .dat files), then post back with your zip name!

How many free disk space do you have on the drive where OOTP is installed?
Why does it say "IE encountered an error and must..."? IE means it's your Internet Explorer which crashes. OOTP has nothing to do with the IE.
Does it also happen if you close any other programs that are running in the background?
