Looking for a league...

Hello all,

I'm looking to join an online league. I'm not picky about any particular franchise...I'll start with a cellar-dwellar, if need be.

I'd prefer a league with other adults over 30 (I'm 37). This is not a knock against a younger group...I'm just too old to keep up with them.

I have OOTP4 , with the latest patch. I'm not one to bail out if things look rough during the season (you should see my fantasy baseball team *g*), and I'll be there for the long haul.

You might want to check out the post, : Introducing the NPBL (National Past-time Baseball Leauge) by Smaegol.

The Leauge will have a Golden Era feeling and will be run by a Commish who truely loves the game.

As for age,....well, I'm a 55yo who will be runnning the Milwaukee Franchise. I grew up watching the Braves when they came to Milwaukee, and was able to see the many great players of that era. The 57-58 Braves had some kick-ass teams!

Looks like your in the Service over there, I'm former Navy-Air, and a Nam Vet. The Commish also spent 5 yr's in the service.

In any case, whatever your choice, best of luck.
