I am seeing something quite different. I'm in late April, year 1 of a brand new fantasy league, 24 teams with 3A, 2A, A and R levels, plus 2 other, smaller Parent league steups. The initial draft was 125 rounds (as expected, giving each team 25 players at each level). In the 3 or 4 weeks since the season started (April 1), ALL teams run by the AI have gone on a pitcher signing binge, with all of the players being dumped onto the "R" level rosters. The average Rookie roster is holdind around 50 pitchers. And if I look at the Free Agents currently available, there are 1,069 hitters and 10 (TEN) pitchers. The pitchers being gobbled up are SP, MR, CL, makes no difference.

With the new patch released today, could you please give this a try, and see if the MR-mania persists?

Thanks,

Steve

Pitcher Bug STILL an Issue

I'm using the latest patch (2.xxx60)... world was built using a template created after patch 1... this particular league was built using that template, but after patch 2.xxx58. I only mention this because I have no idea whether it means anything or not.

Anyway, its April 7 of year 1... All of a sudden every Rookie level team is filled with every (garbage) free agent pitcher that was available. Each team has between 35 and 40 pitchers on their rookie roster. NONE (for emphasis) of these signings show on the transactions reports or logs, anywhere.

If i could figure out how to capture a screen print of a file under 100KB I'd attach that as well (older guy here and not quite as computer literate as I should be).

Sorry to bump this one again John, but now that we're one patch even further down the road, how is your AI behaving?

If it's still behaving strangely, I think the next thing I would ask is if it behaves identically if you create a brand new league with the same settings.

Thanks, and sorry for the delay getting back to you.

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.

This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this.

If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!)
