League leaders different "in game" and HTML

One of my owners pointed out to me today that the league leaders in BA are different "in-game" and on the HTML pages.

Here's what I mean:

St Louis rookie Lee Thomas is hitting an amazing .358 in 341 at bats. If you go to league leaders he is leading in BA. He also shows up as the overall leader when displaying the standings. Hanks Aaron is #2 with a .348 average in 483 at bats. I realize there's a huge gap in the total number of at bats (142 to be exact), but Thomas does "qualify" according to the game.

On the html output files, however, Thomas isn't listed. Neither is St Louis' Joe Cunningham (.313 in 342 ABs) who is listed as 5th in the game. Hank Aaron is 1st in BA for the National League.

Has anyone else seen this before?

The "in-game" leaders are based on 3.1 plate appearances per game played to qualify, which is correct.

The html pages for some reason use 3.1 at bats per game to qualify. Don't know why, but from what I can tell that is what it uses.
