MLB2006V3.1 as template/can the leagues be edited?

I just downloaded this world quickstart and I am amazed with the level of detail. Great work. I am fairly new to OOTP, but can I use this download and then edit the universe to my specifications?

For example, I want to add additional teams to the Major League (I wanted to have a 36-team league and 5 sets of lower minor leagues). Do I do this by saving the league structure as a template nd then edit it accordingly. Can someone walk me through how to do this?

The reason I ask is because I spent a lot of time creating a universe (structure, names, logos, etc.) and then went to start the universe and the game hung up as the inaugural draft started. I was hoping not to go through the same process again and instead, use someone's else work as a headstart in creating my universe. Thanks.

I think I have figured this out myself, I found the edit league structure tab in the league set up section. It looks I can edit the entire universe to my specifications. Sorry for the noobie question.

One final question: Can you delete a league from this setup, could I delete the Chinese League if I did not want to include it in the uinverse

I'm in the process of creating a world template that is 95 percent finished and to answer your question, you can delete all of the teams but not the league itself

So rico are you going to be releasing this as a "template" so the user can add or remove leagues? Or will it be a created league file?

I ask because all the extra leagues (while the work is appreciated) slows down my sim and my comp might just not be up to snuff to run them all.

its going to be a template that you load in the create a league screen and can edit any league you like, send me pm for more information
